'The Embryotic' in Cosmonauts Avenus

Rather thrilled that The Embryotic appears in the very cool Cosmonauts Avenue.

This story has been through a bit of an evolution. In a previous incarnation, it was called The Boil and was shortlisted in the 2012 Mslexia short story competition.

Here's the letter from the Mslexia short story competition stating that 'The Boil' was one of fifty  shortlisted entries from among a large number. 

In 2010, 'Should I Weep', which is published in Eclectica, was shortlisted for the Mslexia competition themed Into the Deep.
